Val-kill

Val-kill was used by Eleanor Roosevelt as a retreat from 1926 until 1945, when it became her permanent home. In later years, Mrs. Roosevelt entertained politicians and foreign dignitaries who came to visit the woman known as the "First Lady of the World".
